This T-shirt is based on a Christmas card sent by my grandfather. That's why I painted a Christmas motive in January (which admittedly was a bit strange).

To paint a faithful copy, I used the strengths of both brushes and airbrush. Santa Claus was painted like an oil painting, mixing the wet colors on the canvas to create the three-dimensional structure of his dress. Note how I used metallic gold color to emphasize some items (as in the original source). Then I covered the foreground objects with adhesive plastic foil to airbrush the blue-violet background. Finally, I added some white strokes that represent snow.
