Esprit Virginia previous project next project textile painting home


This project was inspired by an Esprit T-shirt bearing the flag of the USA (see sources below). I wanted to create a contrasting imitation, using the flag of the confederation of southern states during the Civil War. I chose "Virginia" as a symbolic name for these southern states.

I used cardboard stencils for the flag and the big letters. The small company name was done freehandly.
