Barcode previous project next project textile painting home

information

This is the second project belonging to the "consumer goods" theme. While the Recycling-shirt presents the wearer as an recyclable object, the barcode categorizes the wearer and assigns a globally unique product code to the individual. By the way, the barcode is from a box of vanilla ice (approx. $1.30 value).

I've used a ruler (and a calm hand) to paint the long tight lines and a cardboard stencil for the numbers.
