Once again, I applied my shine-through trace method, because it's so fun to use and yields very good results without much effort. Using a photo-copier transparency and black ink pen, I traced the outlines directly from the magazine. Then I scanned and printed the hand-drawn sketch (but I could have also used a simple photo-copier). On the T-shirt, I first traced the black outlines, and then applied the colors freehandedly, using the original magazine picture as a reference.
